Acocks Green Recreation Ground, Birmingham - A wonderful open space!

Acocks Green Recreation Ground was one of several pieces of land donated to Yardley Rural District Council by the Yardley Charity Estates in October 1898.

Acocks Green Recreation Ground is on a small field of land in Acocks Green, not far from Acocks Green Bus Garage in the Fox Hollies area. Located near Fox Hollies Road, Westley Road and Broad Road. Sometimes the recreation ground is used for fun fairs.

The land is large enough for groups to play football on as well.

Also called Acocks Green Park or Westley Park by some people.

History of the Acocks Green Recreation Ground
